Hi everybody! Happy Thursday!
I have a confession to make. I sat down to write this post and immediately the name crisscross came to mind. I tried really hard to think of something else, but this just stuck. Why is that a problem you ask? Well, it’s not really. It’s just that when I hear “crisscross” I can’t help but then think “everybody clap your hands”. For those of you who grew up in the 90s, you know what I’m talking about. Otherwise, if you must know, you can google the cha-cha-slide. But really, just, don’t. You shouldn’t waste your time.
Erm, well anyway, on to this look. The name for this post is also appropriate because of this sweater, which I am all about. It just covers all my bases. It’s warm and cozy and yet still beautifully interesting. I love the cut out in the back because it’s surprising and both a little bit daring but not too daring. Also, it still has a turtleneck (aka built in scarf) to keep me nice and cozy. There’s a serious correlation between whether the back of my neck is covered and how warm I am. There’s some biology there that says that makes sense, but the takeaway here is that this sweater does it all. And, it’s on sale.
As a side note, if like me, you struggle to find good winter boots without too many bells and whistles (…buckles) that fit narrower calves you should really check out this pair. Also on sale and in my opinion, wonderful.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!
