Hi everybody! Happy Thursday! The weather continues to be beautiful here in Boston, and it really does feel like spring has sprung. I love spring for many reasons, but one of the best things about spring is that my interest in wearing things other than pants skyrockets (hello skirts and dresses, nice to see you after all these months). And with the inclusion of the other 2 out of three 3 clothing options back into my wardrobe, it also becomes much easier to vary what I wear and play a bit with silhouettes.
High-waisted skirts are so great for this. I like to wear them so that they sit at my natural waist. By bringing the eye to the skinniest part of my waist, it creates a really flattering effect. I also like this skirt because it has such great volume. Pairing a wide skirt with a fitted top helps to balance out the material and keeps it flattering rather than overwhelming.
Happy spring, and thanks so much for stopping by!
