Hi everybody! It’s been a busy week. But the good news is that I have officially moved back to Boston! Certainly a bittersweet event (bye New York… sniff), but I must say it feels good to be back.
Moving is so hectic. It’s a strategic game of packing early to avoid stress but still keeping enough key pieces within reach for the days before and after the move. This time I tried really hard to pack so that my favorite go-to items would be within easy reach on both ends of the move. These shorts definitely make the cut. I think what makes them so effortless is that they’re both high-waisted and structured. Lovely. I always find that structured pieces make for a polished looking outfit, regardless of how much effort you’re willing to expend. And a high-waisted cut lends itself to shirt tuck-age, furthering the appearance that you are a put together person. Win.
On another happy note, thank you to all of you who entered the giveaway from my last post! Congratulations to Ashley H. for winning! This past year has flown by and I can’t wait to see what the next one brings. Thanks to all of you who have supported me on this journey. I have been absolutely loving it!
