In general, I try to stay away from universally condemning most things. But I will say, moving is the worst. It’s stressful, unsettling by definition, and physically demanding. I’ve been running around all week cleaning, organizing, and just generally (desperately) attempting to de-clutter (I bemoaned the whole process some more in my last post – what can I say this is what’s been on my mind). Nope, no fun at all.
One of the hardest parts of this process is picking out what I want to have with me for this summer. 10 weeks and two suitcases. My nightmare. I have many strengths but packing light is not one of them. Anyway, it’s been a tough call to edit it down, but suffice to say, this dress makes the cut. It has a super cute silhouette, and can be easily dressed up or down. Versatility? Check. Dressed down as is here is perfect for hanging on the weekend or brunch with friends. Trade out for a cardigan/blazer and cute flats/heels (depending on your work dress code) and you have yourself a Monday-ready, go-get-’em, work-appropriate look. Add a cute jacket and some strappy shoes and you’re ready for date night. The perfect all-in-one solution.
If you have any suggestions of must haves in San Francisco for the summer that can fit in one of my suitcases, definitely let me know. As always, thanks for stopping by!
