Hi friends! Happy Thursday!
The temperatures have soared and I have to say, I’m loving it. It does make it really, really hard to be productive since all I want to do is play outside, but that’s obviously a side effect I’m willing to deal with. Since it’s been so warm (high 80s during the day), I’ve been reaching towards the back of my closet to fish out my dresses. It just feels like they shouldn’t be left out of the fun. This dress qualifies as the easiest of easy for a casual weekend (or for those of us in school, any day) look. It has no structure to speak of, which is not something I usually advocate for, but when it’s extra toasty out I don’t mind it when the whole dress hangs away from my body.
Since I run cold and all buildings are over air conditioned in my opinion, I go nowhere without an extra layer. Denim jackets scream spring to me, and work to create some structure for the look. They also tend to pair with pretty much any sundress and non-jean shorts, making them super versatile this time of year.
What are you wearing as things start to heat up? Thanks so much for stopping by!
