Hi everybody! Happy Thursday!
I’m on the road again, this time in Argentina, and it’s winter here. Not like a full blown Boston winter, but like a 50s in the day 40s at night winter. Aka fall (for all your northeast people). These pictures were taken before I left for my trip, but they really fit how much I’m anticipating fall right now.
I feel like it can be a little bit of a tricky transition. It’s still warm in the sun in the middle of the day, but cooler at night. Maroon and olive green make more and more frequent appearances. One of my best go-tos is to invest in some fall colored but light and “layerable” items. Enter, this top. Not only do I love the soft fabric (it’s almost suede but not quite), I also find the braiding in the back to be quite fun. And it fits my transition-into-fall strategy perfectly. I also like to stretch the boundaries on white jeans season (I see you Labor Day), and I think they are a great base that keep the look light and fresh and warm weather appropriate.
How are you gearing up for fall? What will be your go-to layering pieces for this in between time? Thanks so much for stopping by!
