Hi everybody! Happy Monday!
This weekend was damp, rainy, and a bit chilly. It was a quick and brutal reminder of how spoiled I’ve become with the beautiful Palo Alto weather. Anyway, it really did kick me into fall mode, and for that, I am grateful. I love this colorblock dress because not only are the colors on point for the season, but I also love how easy it is to dress up or dress down. I’ve been wearing it to class with my new favorite leopard sandals, and easily dressed this up for a dinner out with friends this weekend.
In addition to finding the perfect fall colors, I also pulled out my tights for the season. I’m super pleased with this pair. They’re affordable (just a few dollars more than what you pay at a drugstore) but well made and durable. I caught my nail on the tights as I was pulling them on and – thankfully – there were no runs to be seen. I feel like its so easy to flush a bunch of money down the drain in the form of unwearable tights every fall and winter, so finding a pair that you can repeat wear and wash without worry is key. They do have a higher spandex content than most tights, which may have something to do with their durability and is also is great from a staying perspective. If, like me however, you like your tights loose and comfy around the waist, I recommend ordering a size up (and if you do order use code ‘blogger15’ for 15% off!).
What are you wearing this fall? Do you have any other brand of tights and stockings you’d recommend? Would love to hear your thoughts if you decide to try these!
